Canned food did taste so good when people who ate it were so hungry. The three youths ate voraciously. The fat boy stretched out his hand. He was about to reach for a new can of food.
"What do you want?" The bespectacled youth looked up sharply.
"I'm still hungry." The burly young man stopped his hand movements. "Can't I eat more?"
The boy in the blue jacket stopped eating. "We don't know how long we'll be here. So we'd better be frugal."
"But there's still plenty of food here. I think that's enough for three days." The fat young man was still not willing if he had to limit the amount of food that entered his stomach.
"What if they keep us here for more than three days?" The bespectacled young man's voice was loud. He couldn't hold back the anger that swelled in his heart.
"After we get out of here, you can eat as much as you want. For now, we should all control ourselves," said the bespectacled youth.
The youth with the fattest body let out a long breath. "Okay!"
After they finished eating, they returned to the room where the books were. The three youths checked the pile of books to find the second book of the story that the fat young man had already told.
"I think this is the second book we're looking for." The bespectacled youth cheered.
"Come on! Let's read the continuation of the story." The young man in the blue jacket turned to the first page.
