Nakatsura looked back at Mano. His gaze was piercing. Now he looked different from before. The silly grinning figure had turned into a serious figure who looked like a tiger that ready to crush any enemy that appeared before his eyes.
"You must be thinking that since Yabuta is a nobody, then surely no one will want to destroy him. So super tight security like this is a waste. This is just a waste of money deposited by taxpayers."
Mano was surprised that Nakatsura could read her mind.
"It might be true that no one would attack Yabuta regarding his candidacy for mayor. But that doesn't mean that he doesn't have enemies. The people who have had problems with him will probably use this opportunity to take revenge."
Nakatsura's words sounded reasonable. However, there was something odd. Mano then expressed her argument.
"If you want to harm Yabuta, wouldn't it be better to do that not in this place? Such a strict guard, the possibility of failure would be enormous. It makes much more sense for them to choose another time where security is much less lax."
