This S.O.B. System - Chapter 115

Asher tried the door behind him, it was locked now. No matter how much strength he put into it the door wouldn’t budge. With a sigh he pulled up the Trial quest. It took about 50 seconds for 1 second to tick by on the quest. Doing the math easily he realized that a year inside the hall was about a week outside. They had a little over 4 weeks left, so he could be stuck in there for 4 years, as long as the Hall didn’t kill him for not passing. 

Despite the state Earth had been during his Roktai Trial, there were 4 peaceful years prior to the quarantine lifting on their planet. During that time Earthlings learned a lot about magic. In between freeing slaves and finding the next Seinsterf pirates to kill he had discussed mana with others. Tyranis said there was a Spectrum of colors that mana took. Those colors were able to tell you what kind of mana it was. He didn’t know all of them, but he knew most. 

First there was the elemental mana that Earthlings were able to find. The colors of the respective Elemental Spectrum were sometimes all over the place. Asher tried to recall how the Spectrum went. Life, Holy, Soul, Mind, Dream, Illusion, Arcane, Energy, Lightning, Hydro, Ice, Wind, Fire, Sound, Gravity, Geo, Crystal, Nature, Bone, Metal, Blood, Physical, Sexual, Darkness, and Death. Then there were the non-elemental: Creation, Synergy, Fusion, Space, Dragon, Time, Rift, Havoc, and Destruction.

Those are just the ones known in this sector. Some new System may awaken any day and a new element will be found. Synergy was one of the rarest elements. It acted as a catalyst and allowed the mixing of 2 different types of mana. Like Dream mana was the mix of Illusion and mind. Crystal, Blood, and Bone were also synergistic elements. If he had one of those affinities he might be able to pass, but he didn’t have any of them. 

All of these of course had their own weaknesses in the Spectrum, and opposites. Some were easy to know like life and death, creation and destruction. The opposite of Synergy was Havoc. Which just so happened to be the element the Demon Lord Ezarian used. Asher had a decision to make, how could he make Synergy?

Pulling up his status screen he read through his skills. 

His main mana was of course Sex. He also had Physical from his Warrior skills, Holy from his Justice attack, and maybe Dragon with his Dragon Palm technique. Although he hadn’t used the skill yet he wouldn’t be able to learn it if he didn’t have an affinity toward it. The fact that Dragon Palm hurt him was because he didn’t have any dragon blood, something he thought he could change later. 

Reading through his skills he could try to pair Physical with Holy, Holy with Sex, or Sex with Physical. Unsure what a Holy Sex skill could look like he decided to focus on Sex and Physical. The majority of his skills used those as their base, and he had the most experience with them. Using Mana Sight he pulled Sex Mana to his right hand, it began to glow pink. Pulling Physical to his left it began glowing red. Their colors were close, which was good as well. 

Moving to the center of the Asian themed room he sat on the floor to meditate. Using Mana Sense he could feel the huge store of Synergy Mana all around him. The Mana felt almost pure. Arcane was typically seen as clean mana, but it was also violent, the mana around him felt calm. Balanced. He guessed it was synergistic mana in it’s purest form. Something he would have to try to replicate.

Asher had become much more familiar with the room over a year. He had gone below, but after a challenge to one of the Constructs he knew he wasn’t close, so he came back up. About a week had passed in the outside world. Since he had such high stats he didn’t need near as much sleep or food as he used to need. He was brought out of his meditation every few weeks to eat a meal, then he was back to meditating.

For once he was brought out of his study of the mana by something other than the need for food. 

Angry, he thought they were supposed to have 5 years before the System’s protection ended. That should be over 1,800 days not 1,500. Then he remembered that the System League had 300 days to a year. 30 days to a month and 10 months. So they had a little over 4 years and 1 month to get their shit together. Reminded of his girls he brought up his Relationship Screen. 

At least all of them had made it. Unsure what Zora was doing in Denver he hoped she was ok.  He hadn’t noticed but at some point Tiffany’s Relationship Level went up. She was now at 12. It could have been because of their constant roleplays, or her feelings toward him, but he felt her love for him. Slapping his cheeks he stood up. It was time to get serious. He had less than 180 days to get back to Earth and kick some ass. 

He left the room for the second time since arriving all those months ago. Heading down the stairs Asher came into a room and the Construct was still there. The man was almost a mannequin. Made of mana he was bald and wore a brown leather chest and pants. He cast Identification.

“Can I get a woman?” He asked. He had been working on Sex Mana, and really didn’t want to make some dude cum. The Construct morphed into a faceless woman. “Thank you,” he said aloud. 

Unsure what else to do he armored himself and drew his sword. Walking forward the Construct didn’t react. Asher slashed it, but his sword bounced off. Pouring mana in his blade with Powerstrike he did it again, but there was no change. He knew the place was about Synergy, but he had to at least try. The Construct stopped him as he tried to pass, and Asher was pushed back. Focusing he brought Sex Mana and Physical Mana to each fist and then touched the Construct. It did not react. 

Asher stepped back, and the Construct began to channel mana. Asher felt it then, the Synergy was strong in the Construct. It had a sense of Physical and Sex Mana all at once. The mana pushed out of the female Construct and hit him. He was pushed back and came at the same time. It was a very weird feeling. He hated and liked it.

Asher was unable to replicate the pure Synergy mana. So he decided to make his own. Looking through his status screen 2 of the main skills he used was Intimidation and Pheromones. Intimidation was his taunt that scared opponents. It either made them run or focus on him. Pheromones was a synthetic pheromone made from mana. He chose to mix the 2 moves. It took time, but he eventually got it right. Usually making new skills was saved for those over level 100, but he had been doing it a while subconsciously with his Roleplay. This took so long because he had to make something never made before. He even got to name it. 

“Woah, I didn’t know that was a thing,” he said. 

“Dang, I was hoping my Prime status would let me get more,” he mumbled under his breath. Reading through them he forgot about the Hell giving him a mystery percentage. He would have to ask someone about that later. Going over it he decided to drop the Breaker title. He moved his 7 new stats and brought up his screen. 

His Mana Sight and Sense had raised in levels. After spending almost a year and a half inside the Hall he wished it would be more, but he had always heard that Time Dilation typically increased experience needed for a skill to level up. 

Ready to go Asher used Sex Bomb on the Construct. Mana poured out of him in a wave as he yelled. The Construct convulsed and fell to the ground. He got 2,880 experience for defeating it. He moved onto the next room. When he came to the last room of 20 he smiled as his Sex Bomb knocked them out with a yell. With all the easy experience he leveled again. 

He opened the box at the end of the room. Opening it he used Identification on the 2 items. 

Asher didn’t know what a Synergy stone was used for, but he thought it was interesting. Putting them in his ring he received the notification.

With a smile Asher brought up the Contribution Board and his own Status Screen. 

In a way better mood now he sped his way back up the stairs. He had to drop his Libido to 0 to make it through the Hall without going crazy. He missed his wife. As he opened the last door on the surface he was tackled by his pink and blue haired goddess.
