"That was a great scene!! As expected of you!"
Director Chen Pu came forward as soon as the scene finished. His wrinkled face was filled with smiles as a difficult scene was completed in a single take.
It was only possible because of the efforts of the actors in this scene, especially Ren.
This scene was the start of the final battle and it also showed the relationship between Cao Xu and his father. It's significance was high because of just this one reason.
"You praise me too much. I just acted according to the screenplay."
Ren said with a slight yet humble smile.
As the shooting was reaching its end, Ren was doing less and less NGs (No good). It was because he was getting more familiar with the character of Cao Xu.
The shooting was also rapid because of this.
The climax was focused mainly on Xie Xian and Cao Xu, and as Hou Qian and Ren were completely in sync with their characters, so the filming was progressing faster.
"I don't praise you too much. That improvisation there was really great. It made the scene look much more real."
"I just thought that Cao Xu wouldn't wait for his father to finish the talk as he hated him from the start. You can say that I went with the flow."
Ren said as he scratched his head.
The scene earlier was actually improvised by him as originally, Cao Xu would kill the emperor after he had finished talking.
But Ren had thought otherwise and improvised a little.
"That's really a good improvisation though. I liked it much more than the original scene."

Despite his rough attitude, he was someone who would let the actor's improvise their scenes, but it doesn't mean like he would accept anything.
If the scene ended up becoming worse, then his anger would strike the actor with full force.

The scene ended there and the director couldn't help but nod a few times. After that, he raised his head and looked at the person who was playing the role of the high school girl.
It was Xiao Rin.
"Xiao Rin, that was great!! Let's take a break and continue shooting after that."
All the crew members took a sigh of relief as the director called for a break. It was thanks to Xiao Rin who had made the director happy by giving a perfect shot.
