After escaping from my trap that I was caught in this morning of 4 drooling girls all clambering to be the one to lay on me, I went downstairs at about 8 o' clock in the morning to see that everyone was going about their business already, I could even hear some blacksmiths hammers pounding away. I wonder if they ate some breakfast? Hm, you know since I gave all the teams their own goals and since everyone is doing this all for me really I may as well treat them all to a massive breakfast. Let's see, hashbrowns, eggs, and some sort of meat. Bacon isn't filling enough, maybe sausage? Yeah I think sausage would be better to be paired with it, I can also serve an apple with each breakfast, that should give people enough energy to deal with the day.
I smile as I enter the kitchen, I love cooking, every part of it really. Even when I was Hokage, it was just me with my ingredients with a goal in mind. I didn't even care if the food tasted good as just thinking of different ways to make food taste good was enough for me, I was quite notorious for experimenting with my food as well, most notably my pancakes. This was even before I got the system though, my friends would always see me putting odd things into my pancake batter, one of the oddest that I put into it was actually some seasoned salt. Don't know what went through my head with that one actually but it was funny seeing all of my friends reach for water since it was too salty when you combine it with the butter.
Thinking of those times always makes me happy and sad, I should try to get back to them one day... if I can at least. I really do miss all the fun times that I had and I would like to help give my friends better lives. Well, that is in the past and a problem for tomorrow. My problem right now is that shredding potatoes takes a lot longer than I remember. Then again I am pretty much feeding a small army so I guess it's to be expected. On the bright side the hash browns should take too long after I go and put them on.
In fact everything after I got the prepwork done went by extremely fast and dinner ended up being ready at around 9:30, right as most people were waking up which included most of the girls that were sleeping in the bed. The only one who didn't come down was darkness who, knowing her, will be asleep for another hour or so. Well whatever, I look at the girls and smile, and am met with 2 smiles and one blush. The blush of course comes from Shiro since she knows I basically told her to try dating someone else last night and only gave in to her laying down with us since I felt bad for how much she was crying.
Then, not even a minute after they sat down at the table a large group of people came flooding in with Minato, Naruto, and Jiraiya leading the charge, probably intent on getting to work sooner rather than later, but as soon as they saw the large pile of food on the counter they immediately ran to the table and started piling food onto their plates. Try as I might, something I couldn't teach the shinobi were table manners, the girls were much better about it, but well... Shiro and Tsunade still look like chipmunks. At least I can rely on Ezio, Garrus, Esdeath, and to some extent deadpool. Everyone else though just looked like pigs, especially when it came to ketchup. Sweet jesus in just this one meal we all went through 2 bottles of ketchup. Now don't get me wrong, I like ketchup as well, especially on my hash browns, but sweet baby jesus.
(A/N: Do not eat this next bit if you are sick, eating, or have a weak stomach. Actually if you aren't brave or immune to gross shit. Even thinking of this made me gag a bit and all I've eaten in the past 3 or so hours is ice cream so yeah. It's disgusting, but thankfully I've seen worse.)
Naruto is the worst culprit of doing this, putting eggs, sausage, and hash browns on his plate, covering it with a layer of ketchup, and then mixing it all together and eating it. I almost vomited seeing it, thankfully Minato was normal enough and just had really ketchupy hash browns, and only put salt on his eggs.

I managed to stop looking at the others plates and joined them in eating, finding myself a seat in between Esdeath and Tsunade. I am actually not an egg person since I hate their texture, but I make sure to pile a good amount of hash browns and a few sausages onto my plate. Athena actually came down as well and sat down in a free seat, she only grabbed a bit of each though and slowly picked away at her plate while reading her book. It's the same exact book she's been reading but I don't know what book it is since it's just a plain leather bound cover on it with nothing indicating what it could possibly be. It looks as if she's almost done with it though, like it is definitely a hefty book I want to say around 2k pages maybe? The most I've ever read was 1k and this even dwarfs that book, however there is less than half a centimeter left, and then I'm sure that she'll read some books I had put down in the library.
Breakfast was actually a lot of fun, there weren't many materials for the blacksmiths to work with currently, but based on what Tsunade said, she would be able to find a good deal for iron, 100kg's of it for 20k Valis, and after Orochimaru started rattling off a bunch of different things he wanted she pulled out a pen and paper before writing them all down, afterwards she asked everyone else if they wanted anything and I stated that it would be smart if she purchased a few of every potion less than 10k that she could find. Orochimaru immediately started nodding in agreement so she started asked the other members of the trading team what it was that they remember about the things on the list, eventually she got it completed and compiled all the prices, all around the same time that everyone finished eating (including darkness and those that were working.)
It seemed that for everything it would cost about 50k Valis in total if she wasn't able to find deals or haggle anything down, so I gave her an extra 50k to her so that she could split it all up among the team and if they find anything interesting then acquire it, and if they find any good deals on anything not on the list that seems like it has a use then bring it in. They all washed their dishes after nodding their heads, and then they all left (I made sure to give Tsunade a kiss first though. Can't skip important steps like that.).
After that those on the crafting teams all had enough materials to continue learning the basics for now and making sure that they could at least have decent enough Iron ingots to smelt different things with, after that I plan on having them craft daggers till they can do it easily at a high success rate. Am I using skyrim tactics on them? I sure as shit am. Does it work? Who the hell knows, it's all a test. I can thankfully earn money pretty easily so it's no big deal. The Alchemists didn't have anything that was important to talk about regarding anything so I told most of them to focus on Healing potions and why it is that it heals, how to improve it, make it cheaper, more effective, etc etc.
Once they left Athena left as well, towards the direction of the library however, so now it was me and the attacking teams. I sighed a bit and looked at them all before telling them that first step was we were going to drop off all the crystals that we dug out of the spider corpses, and to motivate them more I told them that they could keep a large part of what it was that they each earned (I made it a point that they needed to decide how to split up kills and most of them agreed with the keep what you kill mindset) and only give a bit of it to the Familia. Everyone agreed with this so I also told them that each team was going to be getting their first quest today, however it needed to be something that could be completed on the first floor and that other than the quest I wanted each team to be in the dungeon for 2 hours, this time without my help.
I wasn't completely heartless though because I told them that I could update their Falna before they go which would give them better benefits, however it would lead to them experiencing slower growth. In the end 10 of them, some of the weaker and less skilled shinobi, decided to get updates to their Falna. It wasn't too bad either, 2 hours of fighting and instead of having 200 in their parameters they now have about 300.
They then left the house to go to the guild and do their missions, meanwhile I have nothing to do now. I could do the books, but well... I don't want to do that. In fact I want to have someone else do it but I'm afraid that someone will unknowingly start the apocalypse. God why did I buy so many books without looking?
I guess I could use this rare spare time that I have to go and work on my skills that I have as I haven't been working on those, well, at all.

Huh, well I mean I guess at least I get something to do meanwhile. But man 4 hours to complete it. Does this mean that I can wait till like level 3 to go and do it and end up just getting there way faster?

Talk about taking the wind out of my sails. Like grinders would hate this mission, though hardcore players would love this. It's like darksouls but you force the player to have no respawns at all, a wooden stick, and are naked. Then on top of that you get to fight a horde of monsters that wish to kill you.
