Chapter 658: Watch Over Her
"Are you sure you only want this?" Lu Chen asked. The two left the store. In Kong Qingzhu's hand were a couple of bags.
Kong Qingzhu shook her head, "This is more than enough. I think I brought too much!" She was surprised by the number even now. And she could only think about the cost right now.
"Are you sure I can buy this much?" She was still hesitant. Lu Chen didn't let her leave until she got at least 8 pieces. She didn't know the price as Lu Chen swiped his card before she could see it.
"It's fine. You don't have to worry so much about cash." After all, I'm using the guy's money. With how much he took from Wen Peng, there was no need for Kong Qingzhu to fret.
"Mr.Lu, I can't thank you enough for everything you bought for me."

"You don't have to worry about anything. If you want to repay me, work hard when you come to ARCS." Lu Chen smiled.

"Also, can you do something for me?" Lu Chen's voice turned hesitant as he said this.

"Can you watch over a person? She's in the same university as you."
"Who do you need me to watch over?" Kong Qingzhu asked.
"The girl from last time." Lu Chen said calmly, "She's a freshman and probably doesn't know anything there. I want you to keep her safe."
"..." Kong Qingzhu's eyes widened, but she nodded, "Understood. I will watch over her."
"Good. Now let's go buy other things."
"There's more!"
"Of course. There's also skin-care products and shoes." Lu Chen said cooly as he dragged Kong Qingzhu into another store.
