Chapter 665: Get Them On Board
The board members agreed without any hesitation! Well, there was no point in them talking. They knew what Lu Chen would do to them if they ever disagreed.
"Alright! Welcome our new director, Duan Huiling!" Lu Chen said as he clapped his hands. And that caused the others to clap too.
"..." Duan Huiling didn't know what to say, but she accepted the position,
"Thank you for giving me this position. I will not let you down, CEO." Duan Huiling never expected she would be promoted to director. This would have never happened if Cao Wei had control of the company. She knew she had to work harder from now on.
"Just keep doing what you're doing, and you'll be fine." Lu Chen laughed and continued, "There are some other people I planned to promote." Duan Huiling wasn't the only person.
With how he fired most of the leadership positions, some people stepped up to take the role. And those who did demonstrate they were qualified for those positions.
Lu Chen listed off the people who were going to be promoted. When he did, the board members nodded to everything he said. Duan Huiling was the only one who interjected, adding her thoughts.
And that helped Lu Chen a lot.
"Alright, these are the people who will be promoted." Lu Chen sighed and continued, "Now that all the promotions are done, there is something else I want to discuss."
"..." There's more?
"The second thing I want to discuss is scouting for new talent."
"Scouting for new talent?" This was a new one.
"How are we going to scout for new talent?" "Are we going to open an audition?" That was the most common way to find new people.
Lu Chen shook his head, "It's not by audition. I want to host a survival show."
"A survival show?"
"Mmhmm. An audition would be a good way for us to gain talent. But I doubt it would be enough." The purpose of the survival show was to gain great talent.
Hearing that, the board members nodded their heads. The survival show was interesting.
"Alright, I will discuss everything I want to implement." Lu Chen talked about the different things he wanted to add to the survival show.

"Phew." Lu Chen sighed as he sat down in his seat.
"Good job, young master." Kang Shuchun said as she massaged Lu Chen's shoulders.
"Thank goodness everyone was on board with it."
"Young master, why are you worried about what they think?" Kang Shuchun didn't understand. Lu Chen was the majority shareholder. It didn't matter what the other board members thought. Once he decided on something, no one could talk back to him.
"I know. But I rather have them on board than let them cause trouble later on." Plus, creating it alone would take a lot of work. And he didn't want the board members to cause problems. Having them on board would make it smoother.
"I see." Hearing that, she understood now. Kang Shuchun looked down at Lu Chen, "Young master, it's only the two of us here."
"MMhmm." Lu Chen looked up at her.
"You seemed stressed." Kang Shuchun's hands wrapped around Lu Chen's neck.

"Do you-" "Brother Chen!" Before she could finish her words, Ye Meixiu entered his office!
