As a berserker, one would find oneself in a state of trance. Just like the warriors of the East who go into a state of amok with kris, they will kill mercilessly, responding to every sound that is made, be it friend or foe. But that's not the case with Randy.
In his berserk state, instead of consuming his mental state in exchange for power through the use of mana, he exchanges his own life force for it. Such a feat has long been considered impossible, but impossible is something that Randy has achieved. Shortening his own life span in exchange for power, that's even more insane than exchanging your mental state, but

(This man, he has such an abundance of life force, maybe it's some kind of mutation, or maybe his ancestors, like the true humans or high elves, suddenly decided to give him so much life, and yet, unfortunately, he's just a human. Such an abundance of life isn't good either. It will slowly make his flesh turn against itself, and soon he will be dead. However, he's lucky to have found this method to convert his life force into power) [Hanging Treant].

(No. In fact, it's tantamount to suicide. One wrong step and his life will be gone, and yet if he doesn't withdraw that excessive vital energy, it will slowly eat him alive. He is in such a pitiful state.) [Hanging Treant]
Such a cruel fate. One day, I hope, when I am able to fully master my blessing, I will give him a piece of my flesh. Maybe, just maybe, the fairy blessing in me can cure Mr. Randy. I hope so.

Randy simply jumps into the Chimera. Arrows meant for the Chimera happen to hit him, but he's unfazed. As he swings his massive golden axe into the Chimera's front limb, a gust of air from Randy's own wind magic causes the golden axe to accelerate, and as such
"One limb down, three to go" [Randy].
"STRONG! HE'S WAY TOO STRONG!" [Diana]
"Hehe, surprise little Diana?" [Randy]
"You're even stronger than Nar in this state!" [Diana]
The Chimera, clearly looking down on all of us, suddenly looks at Randy with a piercing stare. A look filled with bloodlust. A look that recognizes that Randy here is an equal threat to it. Taking a stance and balancing himself, he fires a large fire breath from all three heads. It's scorching hot, yet
"Useless" [Randy]
Once again, Randy simply swung his golden axe and once again enhanced it with his wind magic. This causes the searing fire to rise into the air.
Letting that powerful fire spell dissipate is just a waste. It's now a mixture of both wind and fire mana, and I tried my best to gain control of the fire. I activated my Blessing, trying to find the Blessing given by the Wind Fairy and the Fire Fairy, and when I succeeded
"Here I go! Fire Fairy!" [Diana]
The fire, the formless fire, is being transformed into a large fairy-like form. My control over it is still minimal, so I can't refine the shape any further, but that should be enough! I aim for the Chimera's snake tail, and bingo! It catches the tail off guard as the snake hisses in pain and begins to spray all of its venom on itself, hoping to put out the fire.
"Good job!"
"Now we should take advantage of it confusion!"
"Cover yourself with antidote before cutting the tail!" [Linda]
"Right!" [Kat]
Several knights, teachers, and adventurers quickly did as Linda said, and once they'd covered themselves with antidote, they rushed towards the tail. The Chimera noticed them, and yet it couldn't afford to pay full attention, because a bigger threat, a threat that swings his massive golden axe like a stick, is actually more threatening, and thus
"We did it!" [Kat].
"Reckless as always, but well done, Kat."
"Thank you, teacher!" [Kat]
The battle, the one-sided battle that was once in favor of the Chimera, are now completely reversed, simply because of a single strong adventure. Randy really is strong! No wonder Nar, Sas, Jean and Auntie Amleth speak so highly of him!
"Diana! Do me a favor!" [Randy]

His sudden shout startled me, but I was ready to help him in any way he needed.
"Try your best to pin it down. Maybe your earth hole magic or something that can restrict his movement, once that happens, I will cut off all three heads at once!" [Randy]
"Can't you cut it off one by one?" [Diana]
(Take a good look at the front limb right now) [Hanging Treant]
"The front limb... Huh? How?" [Diana]
"The only way we can kill this thing completely might be to cut off all three heads at once, otherwise it will just regenerate. Can you do it?" [Randy]
