The five celers stood inside the office of the headmistress. They had solemn expressions as they looked at the red-eyed woman across the desk.

“Is that everything you want to tell me?” The headmistress asked calmly.

The leader of the celers, a tall young man with whitish skin nodded.

“Our presence here is due to an agreement between the Celer Confederation and the World’s United Government. I’m sorry, headmistress, but we can’t tell you anything else.”

“Is it so?” She smiled slightly. “I see. Well, you can go.”

The five celers nodded and walked off the office.

Only when they left did they notice that they had been holding their breath the entire time.

“… What a terrifying woman.” One of them murmured in their natal language.

“She felt stronger than the high-level practitioners of our empire. Could she be an Irregular?”

“Impossible.” The leader shook his head. “The Protector Duke should be the only human Irregular, and he is a man, not a woman.”

“Could it be that humanity produced another Irregular?”

“If something like that happened, the higher-ups should know. Either way, we should not care about that. We only need to think about how to accomplish our mission. We will make contact with the target tomorrow.”

“““Understood.”””

After the celers left, the headmistress tapped her desk with an expression of amusement.

Sol Garcia, the teacher that had interrupted the duel and brought the celers here, entered the room at that moment with a solemn expression.

“… Headmistress, is this alright? I don’t like the idea of having celers and eblors on our campus.”

“That was the decision of the higher-ups.”

“Even so, you should talk to them!” Sol’s expression was grave. “I don’t know what these idiots are thinking! They did not even ask for our opinion! What if these aliens are plotting something!?”

“You don’t need to worry about that, Sol. Calm down, everything is under control.”

Sol was startled.

“Are you sure?”

The headmistress smiled with a mysterious expression; her blood-red eyes gleaming playfully.

Unlike Sol, she was aware of everything from start to end. Even though the World’s Government tried to hide it from her, it was futile.

She was aware of the celers’ mission, the eblors’ plan, and the World’s Government’s plot.

But she did not care.

Just like humans don’t care about the thoughts of ants.

“I’m sure little Sylvia will find the situation entertaining.” She muttered to herself with a small smile. “I hope she has fun.”

As for the possibility of Sylvia meeting danger, the Headmistress never considered it.

Nobody in this world could harm a single hair of hers.

Nobody.

A group of eleven people was gathered in the room of a nearby hotel.

They could not be considered humans, though. Unlike humans, their skin was of an unnatural brown, they had vertical pupils, and their hair was of exotic colors.

Eblors.

Just like the celers, they had arrived at Sanctuary as exchange students to Sanctuary’s First Awakened College. Only five of them came as students, though, and the remaining six were their attendants.

Among the five students, two of them were girls.

Both of them were nearly identical, with clear brown skin, orange vertical pupils, and reddish hair similar to autumn leaves. Even their features were almost the same, and the only way to differentiate them was through their clothes and expressions.

One of them wore formal clothes and sported an ice-cold expression, and the other was dressed casually and her eyes carried a playful look.

They were the princesses of the Losarig Empire, the strongest eblor empire.

Hyacinth Losarig and Lily Losarig.

“So the celers already made a move, huh.” The ice-cold princess put on a thoughtful expression. “They are as arrogant as always. Did they make contact with the target?”

“Not yet. They were taken to the headmistress before they could.” A male eblor replied.

“That is good. It will be bad if they take the initiative. It looks like we will have to bring our arrival to Sanctuary’s First forward. Urana, please make the arrangements.”

“Understood.”

“By the way, have you received any news about the orcs?”

“None. It looks like they are not planning to come.”

“Is it so? It looks like they really have a lot on their plate.”

Just like the celers and the eblors, the orcs were one of the races that invaded humanity. They were gray-skinned humanoid beings with pointy ears and tall stature that could morph into specific creatures.

Lately, though, the orcs seemed to be experiencing some problems in their land. Hyacinth was not aware of the specific situation, but it was apparently related to a plague.

“Well, it’s good for us. The orcs will only make the situation more chaotic.”

At that moment, Hyacinth glanced at her sister, who was lying on the bed with a bored expression.

“… Lily, what is wrong?” She asked with a frown.

“I’m bored…~ Sister, let’s go shopping! I want to buy some human clothes. I think I will look good on them.”

Hyacinth sighed.

“Lily, we are here on a mission, not to play.”

“But sister, it’s not as though we can accomplish the mission right now, plus, perhaps wearing human clothes will make the target more willing to open up to us, don’t you think?”

“I don’t think so.”

“But we lose nothing trying!”

Hyacinth sighed again. She knew that her sister was only searching for an excuse to play around, but seeing her excited eyes, Hyacinth could not bear to pour cold water on her.

She hesitated slightly before finally giving in.

“Okay, but only for today. I hope you can focus on the mission after this.”

“I promise~!”

“Very well.” Hyacinth nodded and looked at an eblor standing respectfully at the door, a young man with pale green hair. “Arche, tell the humans we want to go shopping. Let them make the arrangements.”

“Understood.”

In one of the bathrooms of Sanctuary’s First, a male student was hiding with a twisted expression.

He had several bruises on his body, and a small cut on his lips, both of them traces of having just fought.

Actually, it was not a fight.

Instead, he was beaten unilaterally.

Bullying.

It was surprising that something like this happened in a prestigious college like Sanctuary's First, but Sanctuary’s First was filled with immature young men and women wielding supernatural powers, making bullying something almost unavoidable.

Although the teachers and directives of Sanctuary’s First tried to control it by punishing bullying severely, it was impossible to eliminate it completely.

And the victims were people like the young man hiding in the bathroom right now.

They were the weakest in a school filled with monsters, without the courage to face the people abusing them.

The young man hiding in the bathroom gritted his teeth in rage. Remembering the expressions of the students bullying him, his eyes became bloodshot.

He then took something out of his pocket and brought it in front of his eyes.

A black pill.

It was a round black pill that shone with a slight glow. At a glance, it did not seem like a normal pill.

The student hesitated slightly but remembering the humiliation he felt every time he was bullied, his eyes became firm.

He swallowed the pill.

And mana erupted from inside his body.
