Her dress was fluttering when the slight wind passed by. The soft hair was dancing along the breeze, and everyone around her could smell the valley of flowers emitted from her.

"Hello, Danny. It's been a while!"

Shao Yan was stunned upon hearing the familiar nickname come out from the woman's lips. Her eyebrows were raised in surprise, but she quickly adjusted her expression before the woman turned her gaze on to her.

Without waiting for Li Xiqing to reply to her, the woman glanced to the side; she shifted her attention to Shao Yan immediately. She scanned her quickly from head to toe before gradually letting out a very sweet smile and offered her hand to Shao Yan.

"Hello, I'm Vivian. You can just call me Viv."

Shao Yan paused for a few seconds as her eyes were staring at the manicured fingers in front of her and decided to return her gestures. She smiled back at the woman and reached out her own hands to shake hers, "Hello, I'm Shao Yan. Nice to meet you."

Vivian slowly let go off her hands, and glanced back at Li Xiqing.

"What a coincidence, Danny. Shanghai is really small, huh! I trust you are fine?"

Li Xiqing casually wrapped his hand around Shao Yan's waist as he nodded back at Vivian.

"How are you, Viv? George did not come with you?"

Her face was maintaining a smile the whole time. She looked down slightly while giving out a soft chuckle, "He is back in New York."

She paused while showing a solemn expression, and after a long while; both Shao Yan and Li Xiqing could hear her mumbled.

"And I am here because our divorce was just finalized."

....

Right as she was about to continue, a car pulled up and stopped near to where they were standing.

Vivian adjusted her hold on her purse as she scanned the faces of the four people around her, "Well, this is my ride."

"Sis, give me your number," Vivian took out her mobile phone and handed it over to Mandy, "let's meet up for lunch some time."

Mandy took the phone and keyed in her number before returning it back, "En, I'll catch up with you soon!"

Vivian received her phone back, and nodded, and then she glanced back at Li Xiqing and Shao Yan before walking to her car.

Mandy waved her hands happily at her departing figure.

As the car pulled away, she linked her hands around Shao Yan's arm, "Yan Yan, let's go. We still have to hunt for ice cream!" And without waiting for Shao Yan to reply, Mandy had dragged her away from Li Xiqing.

....

The restaurant was located next to an outdoor mall.

It was almost Valentine's Day. The streets and shops were decorated in a similar color scheme. Everything around them was either red ribbons or white balloons; pink color boxes or chocolates.

"Where should we go, Yan Yan?"

Mandy and Shao Yan were walking side by side; Mandy still had her hands linked around Shao Yan by her arm. Two tall men were seen walking behind them; following their every step close wherever the two women were heading.

"Let's see this one, Sis! Look! They have the new blush on now," Shao Yan said as she pointed to a shop with a blue and white interior.

Variety of shops were lining up to their left and right. Shao Yan and Mandy were so distracted. Some shops had set up a small table outside of their shops to display some stuff to entice people to come inside. They kept stopping on each table to see what they had to offer.

"She's the one from five years ago?"

Axel asked in a low voice as his eyes were following Mandy as she and Shao Yan stepped into a South Korean beauty shop. Li Xiqing crossed both arms in front of his chest. The two men stood outside the shop while waiting for their women who were looking at lip gloss happily.

"En," he answered while looking at the tip of his own shoes.

He raised his head back up and looked at Axel, "I guess I have to tell Yan Yan now, huh?"

Axel raised his eyebrows as he said in surprise, "Wait a minute! So, you're saying she doesn't know yet?"

"Well," Li Xiqing gave a slight shrug, "She never asked, and I don't think the topic is important because it's already in the past and we already have our own life."

"But I don't need unnecessary misunderstanding. Anything, no matter how small, if it has the possibility to jeopardize our relationship, I will straighten it out."

....

"What flavor do you want?" Li Xiqing said while looking at her face.

After two hours of strolling around, the four of them finally stood inside an ice cream shop. Facing the tens to fifteen flavors in front of them, Shao Yan could not seem to decide which one to have.

"Let's do uh..." She paused as she scanned the counter from left to the right, "Let's do a chocolate waffle bowl with yuzu and caramel mocha, please."

Mandy also placed in her order, "I will have the strawberry waffle bowl with rum and raisin. And also, the mango sorbet, please."

It was a small shop that could fit in only about twenty people at the most. They decided to sit by the glass counter that faced the street outside.

Mandy and Shao Yan sat in the middle with the two men occupied the seats to their left and right side; each couple sharing their own ice cream bowl.

"Xiqing, Yan Yan, this will be your first Valentine's Day together, right?" Mandy said before biting her spoon.

"Did you plan anything special, Daniel?" Axel joined in.

Li Xiqing glanced at Shao Yan, before smirking and looked back at Axel, "Of course! Everything is all set. And now you ruined the surprise because I have not gotten the chance to tell her myself."

Mandy jerked to the back of her chair as she laughed out loud while looking at Li Xiqing and his pouting face.

"Qing Qing! Hahaha! Your pouting face is adorable!"

Shao Yan glanced to the side, and she could not hold back a smile. She put down her spoon and then she reached out one hand and cupped Li Xiqing on his cheek. She said as she giggled, "Hehe Xiqing, you are being called adorable."
