Episode 26: The End of the Class Match part 2

“-Partner in the folk dance.”

“Y-you, w-why did you promise her that? wait why did it even come to that point? don’t tell me… guys have that kind of relationship?!”

I got up from my nap to my surprise.

It’s not like that… Soji quietly told me.

“I’m dancing with Akimoto because I can’t stand to be disrespected by those people who dance.”

“Oh, I see.”

What is Soji, the instigator doing? Do you have no one to dance with? He probably can’t stand to be in the receiving line.

As we were having this conversation, two shadows appeared.

“Oh, there you are…”

“Why are you hiding?”

Akimoto and Cheena came running towards us.

I wonder what they want.

“What is it?”

“It’s about to start, let’s go. Shimizu-kun.”

“Hmm? Yes, I’m coming.”

I see, Akimoto has come to call Soji.

And I could tell by the look in Akimoto’s eyes that it was her who invited him.

You just want to touch Soji’s muscular arms, don’t you…

The two of them might be a good match for each other, I suddenly thought.

After seeing the two of them walk away, I sat back down on the grass, then Cheena sat down too.

“Hey, didn’t Yori win the match last night? Does that mean people will think that Yori won me?”

Suddenly, Cheena said something like that.

What, is she worried about that?

“I guess so. I’m sure everyone will think that Sawai made them back off. You seem to be good at interpreting things at your convenience.”

“… that.”

I don’t know why I told her that to reassure her. For a moment, I thought that she’s in a foul mood.

“And anyway, it’s fortunate that I was able to silence Sawai. It’s like a last boss attack.”

“Fufu. Shiori-san is the last boss, right?”

We laughed at each other a little.

Then suddenly, something hit my left arm.

When I looked at it, Cheena was a little embarrassed, holding my arm and looking up at me.

“Uh… What’s wrong?”

I managed to say something although her destructive power was so high.

Then Cheena slowly opened her mouth, slightly fidgeting.

“Well, that… um… uhh… would you like to go folk dancing with me?”

“What?, with me? you sure?”

It was an invitation to dance.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t expecting it.

I thought that if I were to dance with someone, I would prefer Cheena.

But I was sure that if I asked her, she wouldn’t refuse.

It was because I’m usually taking care of her.

Call me a fool, but I was hoping that Cheena would ask me out.

So I answered honestly.

“Are you sure? I’m not a good dancer.”

“I’ll lead you. Like a cheek kiss.”

And with that, we walked off, hand in hand. (T/N: Ah, single me is a bit jealous hehe?)

Shiori POV

Lately, Iori has been at the spotlight in the school.

He’s getting cocky.

The reason was no doubt that Christina Kournikova…

Ever since she moved into the school, Iori has been taking good care of her, and she seems to be having a great time when he does so.

Even now, they were dancing happily in front of the campfire.

I can’t forgive him.

After hurting mother so much, I can’t let you be happy!

Why are you smiling and laughing after taking away your own mother’s dream?

I have to give him a good beating!

Come to think of it, we are having forest school.

(T/N: Forest school is an outdoor education model where students visit natural spaces to personal, social, and technical skills. [Source: Wikipedia])

The place is a nature house in the mountains.

And over there… fufu. (T/N: I’m getting a bad feeling from this)

I think Iori needs to be hurt a little.

Speaking of which, there were a couple of idiots who got hurt because of Iori.

I think their names were Sasaki and Ishida.

They’re not my pawns yet, but it’s easy to manipulate these people.

Yeah, I’ve got a good idea!

Don’t feel bad, Iori.

Because you’re the one who’s at fault.

A/N: I finally got around to writing the much-requested Shiori POV!

Considering the flow of the story, I thought it would be a good idea to publish it here, but it was hard to cover it up in the feedback section:

I’m sorry for the inconvenience.
