Chapter 58: Welcome

After 1 week,
Today is the day when Lady carot will be moving to our house, and I am kind of nervous I see Violet's reaction when she sees the arrangements I have done for her. I just hope she likes it....well if she doesn't...maybe I will just change all of it.
"My Lady, what have you thinking about so deeply?" Hana asked as she looked at me.
"I...I was just thinking about the lady Carot, today she would come to our household....Ha...I just hope she likes the arrangement..." I said as I played with my hair. There are too long maybe I should them short.
"My Lady, you do not need to worry about that and...you shouldn't play with your hair like that," Hana said as she combed my hair again.
"Yes.....but isn't my hair too long, because of it I find it difficult to attend daily activities," I said as I looked at Hana.
"No, that can't happen my lady looks the prettiest with her long hair, cutting it would be a waste," Hana said as she started to braid her hair.
"But if I cut them now, they will grow back till summer~," I said as I tried to persuade her to let me have a haircut.
"No, My lady, I cannot take this order of yours," Hana said as she looked at me.
"But...*sigh* Okay..." I said as I rose from my seat.
"The my lady shall we proceed, lady carot's carriage is here," Hana said as she bowed her head.
"Yes!" I said as I took a deep breath and walked out of my room, and went toward the entrance.
Both Ash and Father along with butler Mill and some other servants were already present there.
"Good Morning everyone ~," I said in a cheerful voice as I went towards them.
"Good Morning, My Lady." Butler Mill and the other servants said as they bowed.
"Good Morning sis!!" Ash said as he jumped towards me.
"Don't jump at me like that, you are heavy," I said as I patted his back.
"I don't think so~' Ash said with a cheeky smile.
" Now Now, Don't fight both of you,'' Father said as he patted both of our heads.
"And Irene good morning, did you sleep well?" Father asked as he stroked my hair with a gentle smile face.
"Yes, Father," I said as I smiled at him.
"I am glad to know that, looks like bringing Lady Carot over our house was a good choice," Father said as he touched my face.
"Huh? What does father mean?" I asked as I tilted my head?
"Well, what I mean is.....the glow on your face has returned. And you seemed to be more cheerful than usual." Father said with a smile as he looked at me with living eyes.
Ah, now I understand the real reason for bringing violet was because of me...Father accept her to stay just to make me happy...He did all he could for me...
"Father, Thank you," I said as I kissed the right cheek of his face.
He looked kinda stunned, but soon a smile crept over his handsome face, as he looked at me with warm eyes.
"Anything for you," Father said as he gently stroked my hair and right then violet's carriage entered our residence. And my heartbeat rose again, but this heartbeat wasn't like the one I feel around Crown Prince....this heartbeat is kinda making me anxious and nervous.
"Welcome to winter residence." All the servants said as soon as Violet came out of her carriage.
"Welcome Lady Carot." Ash and I said as we bed towards her.
"Thank you for having me," Violet said as she smiled towards us.
"Then shall we go inside," Father said as he smiled at violet.
"Umm!" Violet said as she nodded her head like a well-behaved child.
As soon as violet set her foot ok the household, her eyes widened and her mouth was half-open.
Why is her expression like that? Does she not like it?
"Lady Carot... What's wrong? You don't like the arrangements...I. tied to make it according to your preferences...It might be lacking since the time we limited...but if you want I can redo it all again." I said as I looked at Violet who looked at me blankly.
"It's not what like that..." Violet said as she looked at me. I looked at her with a confused face?
"Then what is it?" I asked as I looked at her nervously.
"What I mean is....when you asked for my preferences I thought you meant it for my room but you....changed the whole house interior!!" Violet said as she looked at the house.
Walls painted in ocean blue colour with black curtains along with golden rings around. Flowers which are violets favourite along with the minty fragrance which is always around her. Literally, I placed everything she likes all around the house....hoping that she would feel comfortable with the familiar environment but looks like...I kinda did everything over the top...
"My apologies to lady carot, I only did this in hope that you would be able to adjust well with us but looks like it only made you more uncomfortable..." I said as I looked at my hands.
Right now I feel so stupid and useless, even though father only told me to look after her room, I stubbornly asked for permission to change everything....I got ahead of myself again....I really suck...no matter how many times I think of it...I really suck.....
Ha...I disappointed everyone...again.Didn't I.....
"Pfffft!!! lady winter, who told you that I didn't like it? I loved it! And I am not saying this to keep your heart, I really mean it." Violet said as she held my hands and gave me a warm smile, which eased all my worries.
"I am glad to know that," I said as I looked at her smiling face.
"And...I look forward to our days living together!" I said as I smiled at her.. For a minute she looked shocked but soon she chuckled and just like that both of us started laughing our hear out.
