Ye Hong: “This is what you get for trying to sneak up on me!”

Jing Yu: “Please don’t fool around anymore… time, I won’t be able to catch up.”

Ye Hong: “No, you can definitely do it! You must believe in yourself ah, Goldfish!”

Jing Yu: “No, I don’t believe.”

Ye Hong: “To be a member of pg, this bit of confidence is necessary!”

Jing Yu: “Didn’t we say I’ll command?”

Qin Fei: “Ye Zi. Shut up. Obey the command.”

Ye Hong: “Unngh…”

The training room explodes with clamor. Yet, the Coach, Fang Luofan is completely silent. His gaze lands upon Jing Yu’s screen, incapable of tearing away for a long time. His eyes are full of shock.

The bystander is most clear; Regarding the matter of whether Jing Yu is able to catch up just now, Fang Luofan has the most ability to comment.

Up until Frozen Heart successfully completed Double Kill, Fang Luofan was certain he wouldn’t be able to catch up. In fact, he even disapproved of him tanking the forest monsters’ attacks.

If he wants to go save Ye Hong, why not just rush forward from the beginning? Why did he insist on finishing off the forest monsters before going to help?

It wasn’t until the instant Frozen Heart double-killed that Fang Luofan was finally able to get his answer — It’s because of AD.

Just now, he didn’t have the Jungler Blade. The AD was insufficient. Now, it’s enough.

However, how did Jing Yu know that so long as he tanked whilst madly attacking, he would be able to catch up? If he didn’t arrive in time, so what if he had gained a Jungler Blade? He’ll still have to return to the turret to heal up. In this manner, both parties’ gold will only have a widening gap.

Indeed. When Jing Yu bought his Jungler’s Blade, Ye Hong’s situation was terrible. If Ye Hong hadn’t used his last breath to seize control over Burial Sword and Black Serpent, then, even if the low health Frozen Heart managed to rush to the scene with his Jungler Blade, he would only be handing his head over on a silver platter together with Scarlet Fury’s.

Was it a coincidence? Or did he really take a risk?

If it is neither of them, then– Other than the situation where Jing Yu was able to accurately gauge his own AD, Burial Sword and Black Serpent’s HP*, as well as trust that Ye Hong will have the ability to hold up the enemies, it’s impossible for Jing Yu to have made that kind of decision just now.

(*HP: Health Points)

Moreover, he couldn’t also have considered Scarlet Fury’s cool-down times ba?

Realizing this possibility, goosebumps rise all over Fang Luofan’s body — This is no longer just a jungler’s awareness. It’s simply a foretelling of the future!

Unsurprisingly, Ane is also frightened by that counter-attack just now.

“Why did Frozen Heart suddenly appear here?” The one who asks this question is Ane’s mid-laner, wing.

“The damage’s so high.” Jungler, Fly, also bears a face full of disbelief, “How is this possible? He shouldn’t have been able to catch up.”

While the two people are chatting, they click open both sides’ gold to take a glance.

In the end, it is still Fly who gives a possible explanation: “I might have underestimated Frozen Heart’s jungling speed. He must have finished off the forest monsters and bought the Jungler Blade before coming here.” Pausing here, “And he also used Flash.”

“Fuck…”

In the midst of wing’s shocked exclamation, Ane’s Captain and Support — hI, coldly orders: “Frozen Heart’s health is low and he is returning to the turret. He should be going to the Upper Jungle to grind later. The Top Lane’s tower can no longer be secured. Pei Ling, you go for the mid-laner. Xiao Fei, gank the marksman. But also, be cautious of Frozen Heart assisting.”

“Okay.” pL answers.

“Understood.” Fly** answers.

(**Xiao Fei: Fei means Fly in English)

At the same time, within pg‘s Training Room, Jing Yu calmly says: “Marksman, give me two creeps.”

“Ah?” Luo Yiming doesn’t respond in time.

Unexpectedly, Jing Yu doesn’t give him a chance to respond either. He steals two soldiers from right under his eyes, then proceeds to ducks in a grass plain at the side.

A jungler snatching the marksman’s creeps. This is likely a first in a professional game.

However, Luo Yiming doesn’t mind it all that much. After farming sufficient creeps, he levels up to Lv. 6 and gains his Ult. Almost at the same time, Frozen Heart who has been doing virtually nothing in the grass plains also hits Lv. 6, purchasing a critical hit blade.

Seeing this sight, Fang Luofan is all the more astounded — This person… He really is calculating the levels and gold!

How sensitive to numbers must he be, to be able to secure two soldiers at the right time to help himself rise to Lv. 6 and simultaneously, earn enough gold to purchase his equipment?*

(*G/E: The soldiers are able to kill forest monsters in GF’s name to help earn EXP and gold.)

Whilst Fang Luofan is still mind-blown, Jing Yu’s voice once again rings out: “The jungler’s coming. Marksman, retreat.”

Luo Yiming follows the creep trail and invades the enemy’s tower in a tower-dive.

Jing Yu: “…Retreat! In my direction!”

Luo Yiming uses a single Flash to step into the bush Jing Yu’s in.

Jing Yu: “You… Kite* them, don’t you know how!? Kite them ah!”

(*Kite: Lure the enemy somewhere, usually into a trap. You can’t do this if you’re flash-stepping.)

(*G/E: GF wanted LYM to kite enemies towards him so he can kill them.)

Jing Yu is about to collapse. Unexpectedly, right before he collapses, the enemy Centaur charges towards them. Almost at the same time, Burial Sword Flashes. Under the Defensive Halo of their support, these two demons directly rush into the bush where True Arrow is in.

The allied Support has been separated. In this precarious situation, Jing Yu directly Ults! But he didn’t expect True Arrow to also directly Ult!

With two Ultimates hurled at them, the three enemy demons are controlled to the point where they can’t move a step. But because the enemy support’s Defensive Halo is still in effect, the damage dealt didn’t reduce their blood by much. Following closely, Ariel opens his Shield, once more blocking off True Arrow and Frozen Heart’s attacks.

When the CC effect has dissipitated, Centaur uses a single Flash to return to the turret, slipping away faster than anyone else. Ariel Ults, giving Burial Sword back a large amount of his blood.

At this moment, so long as Burial Sword Ults, in this critical situation, Frozen Heart and the low-HP True Arrow will both die.

Yet, just right before the moment he opens attack with his Ult, the allied support Sariel makes his way back. Six-Winged Holy Light activates, locking his allies’ blood*!

(*G/E: Now, their blood can no longer fall.)

True Arrow and Frozen Heart rush at Burial Sword’s back almost at the same moment. Subsequently, a storm of 1st abilities and normal attacks smashes into him just like that.

Burial Sword’s blood drips in rivulets. Even Ariel’s Small Heal is unable to save him.

Ariel makes a decision on the spot to retreat back within his turret. Yet, he didn’t think Sariel would directly rush up at him. True Arrow also throws down Burial Sword and follows suit. However, he totally ignores Ariel, instead turning to the enemy Centaur behind him to madly gank!

Their own turret is under attack. How can they retreat?

Centaur meets him head on, wanting to collect True Arrow’s head. He didn’t expect that after shooting out his 1st ability, True Arrow would turn around a pillar, make a feint, dodge the arrow, then continue to attack!

At this moment, Centaur still has a quarter blood left. True Arrow is left with only a thin blood skin. Sariel’s blood is plunging dangerously under the Tower Defences. Only Ariel’s blood can still be considered high.

No matter how one looks at it, the odds are not in pg‘s favor.

“Charge!” Ariel’s operator, hI, throws this command at his allied marksman.

Centaur surges forward, wanting to take down True Arrow’s head in one shot, yet he didn’t expect True Arrow to use another side-step to wonderfully dodge it. At the same time, a flash of cold light connects with Centaur.

After realizing what this is, Centaur instinctively retreats. hI immediately commands: “Don’t retreat! Shoot!”

So what if Frozen Heart is here? After killing Burial Sword, he only has a thin skin of blood left. So long as he’s shot, they’ll be able to collect his head in one move.

Unexpectedly, just as Snow Allure is about to be activated, in the short space of time where Centaur takes aim using the light as his guide, Sariel opens Shield, and Frozen Heart rushes forward, welcoming Centaur’s arrow. The Shield breaks. The 1st ability Frozen Blade pierces through Centaur entirely. Once penetrated, he retreats. He totally doesn’t turn his head back to even cast Centaur a glance, as if absolutely certain this one attack is able to take down Centaur’s head.

Indeed, the System broadcasts the deaths of Burial Sword and Centaur one after the other:

【System】Frozen Heart, First Kill!

【System】The enemy Burial Sword has been killed!

【System】Frozen Heart, Double Kill!

【System】The enemy Centaur has been killed!

However, the state of the team battle thereafter is not quite as optimistic:

【System】Ariel, First Kill!

【System】Your ally True Arrow has been killed!

【System】Ariel, Double Kill!

【System】Your ally Sariel has been killed!

“Yo, the support double kills ah!” Luo Yiming can’t resist exclaiming, “As expected, we were wise to target the support!”

What can Jing Yu say ne?

He doesn’t want to say anything.

【System】Scarlet Fury, First Kill!

【System】The enemy Ariel has been killed!

“2 for 3. With this, we’ve broke even ba?” Ye Hong chuckles as he leads his Scarlet Fury forward, taking off Ariel’s head with a wave of his hand.

Jing Yu still doesn’t want to say anything.

In a situation where they’re outmatched in everything but still tower-diving and ganking, this kind of exotic play, truly, only pg can bring themselves to do it.

Actually, he doesn’t really understand why Luo Yiming and Han Leng want to tower-dive and gank. If not for his Frozen Heart, the final result might have been 2 for 1*. It’s totally not worth it.

(*2 for 1 二换一 : 2 heads exchanged for 1.)

In order to prevent such a situation from happening, he once again risked himself, enduring his low health to take off Centaur’s head. This is a decision he made bearing the support’s Shield in mind.

If the support hadn’t open his Shield in time, then, it would have been 3 for 1.

Risks — This kind of thing. It is what Jing Yu would never have done in the past. But this time, in this practice match, he did it, and moreover, he did it twice.

Having successfully taken down heads, after enduring his low blood and making it back to the turret, Jing Yu’s heart is still beating wildly in his chest. Even now, his heart is still suffering a little after-shock.

However, he also has to say, this feels a bit gratifying…

“Jing Yu.” All of a sudden, Qin Fei coolly speaks up, calling Jing Yu’s name.

Having captured the Top Lane’s tower, he is currently rushing towards the Mid Lane, saying as he hurries: “Yiming’s the type who loses his intelligence the moment he sees low blood. You let a person with negative IQ kite. That’s way too unfair to him.”

Jing Yu blanks out. For a split second, he isn’t certain whether Qin Fei’s joking, or merely stating a truth. Because his tone is way too serious.

Then, he hears Luo Yiming’s laughter: “Haha! As expected, Fei Ge knows me best!”

Jing Yu: “……”

Excuse me, may I ask how your ability to grasp the point is so outstanding?

Alright. Jing Yu finally understands. Qin Fei is very seriously reminding him not to let a teammate go do things he clearly won’t be able to do.

But to think he can’t even kite…… Jing Yu lets out a sigh: “Fei Ge, why don’t you take charge instead?”

He feels like he himself just won’t be able to direct this bunch of people.

He let Ye Hong retreat, then Ye Hong indeed retreated, but after retreating, this guy immediately dashed out.

He let Luo Yiming kite, then Luo Yiming directly blew up his position. He even left the allied support behind, throwing the entire situation into a mess.

If the one doing the directing just now was Qin Fei, would they have gotten a different result?

Faced with Jing Yu’s self-lamenting, Qin Fei doesn’t say much. He calmly takes command of the team: “Okay. Let’s attack ba.”

“En?” Jing Yu hasn’t the chance to react — Attack? Let who attack?

Qin Fei’s next line is: “Ye Zi, attack! Yiming, attack! Slaughter them all till they don’t even have an armour left!”

Ye Hong: “Righto! Wait till I take down the tower, then I’ll kill you all!”

Luo Yiming: “Wait till I get my Fission Arrows, then I’ll kill you all!”

Han Leng: “Wait till I switch to AD build, then I’ll kill you all!”

Jing Yu: “……” WTF!

It must be my directing style that is wrong.
