Chapter hundred and thirty three: Now, do you believe?
Max brushed his fur on Jamie's body. It's been minutes since she lost consciousness and everybody was still waiting around for her to wake up.
Semeen was a girl again and she was sitting on the floor. Jamie's head was carefully placed on Semeen thighs.
"Luna" Semeen shook her body softly. "Luna, wake up"
Max touched her again. This was wonderful yet he was filled with apprehension. If Janessa accepts them, then he and Alexander won't have to hide anymore.
It was the good kind of freedom.
(Maybe she will never wake up) Alexander told his wolf.
(She will. Let's just give her time, your highness) Max replied.
Even though both wolf and man were frightened by the unknown, they comforted each other.
Semeen pinched Jamie's hand just slightly "Come on, Luna. Wake up!"
Jamie stirred and opened her eyes. She was confused at first as she tried to remember what had happened to her. The back of her head hurts and she rubbed it in circular motion.
"What happened?" She asked as she attempts to make her eyes wider.
"You lost consciousness for a while but you are okay" Semeen smiled compassionately at her.
"Are you still a werewolf or did have the most outrageous dream?" Jamie sat upright.
"I am still a werewolf but you are safe. Everyone here is sworn to protect the Alpha King and therefore, his family" Semeen told her.
"Where is my husband?" Jamie asked as she looked around.
Her graze fell on Max, the wolf standing a few inches away from her.
"Oh Hey, Max"
Max came closer to her.
(At least she is not running, I mean that is a good start)
(Maybe she will lose consciousness again. Try not to startle her, Alpha)
Semeen stood up and pointed everyone to the door to allow the Alpha and his mate some privacy to talk.
Jamie stared at the Wolf. She would remember this particular Wolf anywhere. It was Max. She named him.
Jamie felt numb at first, not knowing what to do, or how to feel. The only thing she knew right that moment was that her life was going to suck more before it becomes less.
But she had the right to choose whether she wanted to go through it alone or with the man that loved her.
(Can you still hear me, Jamie?) Max asked as she touched him.
"Yes" Jamie answered.
(Good. Are you okay?)
"I don't know. How does this work? Am I married to you too, Max?" Jamie wanted to know how the arrangement works.

Jamie paced. She needed to get her wandering mind together. Overwhelming doesn't describe how she was really feeling.
"Where is Alexander?" Jamie asked as she dusted off the dust on her dress.
(I am here) Alexander answered her.
"Can you change into human so we can go back to the castle?" Jamie told him.

Three days later
Alexander stood by the railings as he watched his men fight. He could go down and join them but he could never convince his legs to move and he had tried severally.
For the past three days since they came back, Max hardly spoke to him and so did Janessa.
Every morning they have breakfast together and talk about anything apart from what he showed her.
It was like she was intentionally avoiding the conversation and his wolf was avoiding him too. Last night, Alexander searched for max but he couldn't find him. He had hidden from him.
Now, he was simply watching his men fight.
Alexander heard footsteps and turned around to find Semeen and Blake behind him.
"Your highness" it was Semeen's voice.
"Now, is not a good time commanders" Alexander just wanted to be left alone.
He was king of both worlds and yet he wanted to be left alone in the little space he created. He didn't want to be king of anything for a bloody minute!
It wasn't too much to ask.
"Make it a good time, Alpha...." Blake started but Semeen interrupted him.
"We found Judd"
Alexander turned around and gawked at them.
"Where?" Alexander asked them.
"According to my spotters, they are heading to the isle of the blessed" Blake answered.
Alexander stared blankly at him. Was he supposed to know where that was?
"What does that mean?" Alexander's gruff voice was cold too.
"The Isle of the blessed is the only place rumored to have real magic and it is found in the Eastern hemisphere" Blake clarified.
"I am going after Judd" Alexander walked out.
Semeen and Blake followed Alexander right behind.
"We are coming with you"
"No. This is not pack business. The knights will rescue Judd and his imposter wife" Alexander said as a matter of fact.
"We understand but it's our duty to protect the Alpha. Are you asking us not to do our jobs?"
Alexander stopped and watched them with narrowed eyes.
"This is kingdom business, go back to the pack commander"
Blake and Semeen watched as he walked away.
"We found him. We should be the ones to rescue him" Blake told Semeen.
"He is Alpha and he is king. He has to keep both worlds separate. And your job is to obey him" Semeen replied.
"Well, sooner or later both worlds will clash. Which do you think he will choose?"
Semeen watched as Blake walked away. Semeen wondered if she should bring to the king's attention about everything Blake just said. Since sometimes she wonders about the same thing herself.
Semeen also worries about Blake and if he was loyal to the crown and his Alpha.
Alexander made his way down to where the knights were but they didn't stop on his account. They were allowed not to.
"Halt!" Alexander ordered and everyone obeyed.
"We are going after Judd. Sir Walters will choose six men to journey with me to the isle of the blessed to rescue Sir Luther Judd. We leave in two hours"
Alexander walked the halls in long strides. He had a short period of time to say his goodbyes and prepare his men to rescue someone who would die for him.
Alexander almost made it to the king's court when he was approached by Semeen.
"Not now, Semeen" Alexander muttered and walked past her.
"Well, now is just a good time as later, your highness. I am coming with you to the eastern hemisphere and so is Blake" Semeen walked behind him.
"I remember having this conversation a while ago or did I imagine that?" Alexander asked her
"No but you are Alpha now. You are not just king of the west but Alpha of the crescent western hemisphere pack" Semeen grabbed his hands to stop him "You have to include us!"
"If I say yes, Will you go and bug someone else?" Alexander asked her.
"Yes. You will not even know that we are there with you. We can be quiet, your highness" Semeen was excited.
"Then yes. Now go and bug someone else. May I suggest Blake?" Alexander walked away.
"The Queen and Princess are waiting for you inside" Semeen informed him and walked away.
"But who told them...." Alexander turned around but she was gone.
Alexander pushed the door open and walked in to find the two most important women in his life pacing the room.
"Before you say anything, I am going" Alexander told them.
"Of course, you are going. It's Judd!" Rosemund answered.
"Oh!" Alexander was surprised "it's just that the last time I traveled outside of the west, you threw a fit. This is a welcome change, Rose"
"I am coming with you" Jamie told him.
"No, you are not" Alexander answered with a firm voice.
"Yes, she is" Rosemund answered.
"When did everyone around me start telling me what to do?" Alexander has an exasperated face.
"We have a lot to talk about, Alexander. Going with you will provide a neutral ground for a discussion. You told me you are part wolf and part human!" Jamie explained further.
"And you've ignored that fact for three days!"
"I was overwhelmed but I am ready to talk now. Let me go with you" Jamie was serious.
Alexander turned to his sister. Jamie and Rosemund has never seen eye to eye. Alexander wanted to know why they suddenly decided to be in the same boat.
"Why do you agree with her? Are you two suddenly best pals?"
"No but you are going to the isle of the blessed, the only place rumored to have a real sorceress. They can figure out why Jamie has the power to hear your thoughts" Rosemund stated as a matter of fact.
"Maybe I should step down and relinquish the crown.. You, Janessa and Semeen can be joint rulers since everyone likes to tell me what to do!" Alexander's frown deepened.
