“How’s that?” Bishop asked. They were at the center of a town surrounding a large fire. The Gone had been cleaned up, and the village was back to how it had been. A few of the townsfolk joined them at the fire. Asher shared some of the food with them. The people hadn’t been as bad off as those in Truskin. Close to the city but not big enough to be noticed they were mostly able to stay out of the Gone’s radar. Only going out for necessities they had a few levels, but not many.

“I read the Lotus’ mind,” Tiff admitted. “The Prince had no luck. The Lotus are like plants. Spores are thrown into the wind and if they are lucky the spores land above a Mana Branch. The higher ambient mana feeds them and they can grow. The Prince happened upon one such spore.”

Asher cursed. He had expected them to be safe as long as they weren’t bit. He would have to focus his Mana Sight more to make sure they didn’t happen on a Leyline Branch. “Are there Lotuses in every Gone?” Abby asked.

“I don’t think so,” Tiff said. “The Lotuses actually control every undead. They call their mana Styx Mana.”

“Styx?” Asher asked. He had never heard of it.

“They consider it a mix between Life and Death,” Tiff said.

“Holy hell,” Asher said. “That shouldn’t be possible,” he said. “Then again there are Extinct Skill Books. Guess pre-League was more lawless than I originally thought.”

Tiff nodded and continued. “There wasn’t much in the mind of the Lotus, but it did know it came from the East. It’s earliest memory was a black portal between 2 giant stone faces.”

“How big of faces?” General Vich asked.

“No idea,” she said. “Portals can be the size of a person all the way to 40 feet tall.” The General slowly nodded as he thought.

“What? Have an idea?” Asher asked.

The general slowly answered. “There is a city we are often at war with. Preshoral kingdom. They believe that they are the descendants of an ancient Geo God. Their entire city is surrounded by a stone wall. Faces are carved in the stone. In honor of their God watching those around them. It’s sacrilege to go near the faces.”

“They’re probably all dead now,” Asher said. “How many people live there?”

“As many as Truskin had,” he admitted.

“Shit,” Asher hissed under his breath. He looked around. Before leaving he had scoured the city for a Dungeoneer that could close the portal. No such luck. For all he knew it was before Dungeoneers were a thing. He was tempted to run into the portal himself, but there was no guarantee he would get a quest to close it. His only option left was to try to close it himself.

Dungeoneers used Space and Creation mana. Both were non-elemental, and strong. They would use Space to create portals. Then Creation to make things with mana inside the dungeon. No one on his team had Space Mana. Nadir had a little bit of Creation now because his illusions could become tangible.

The Spectrum that he knew for non-Elemental was Creation, Synergy, Fusion, Space, Dragon, Time, Rift, Havoc, and Destruction. Creation was weak to Destruction, Synergy was weak to Havoc, Fusion was weak to Rift, Space was weak to Time. The only plus side was all of those were weak to Dragon. Not so much weak, as Dragon could hurt them. It was still their best shot to close it.

“Ming,” Asher said. “I think this will be on us.” She had been leaning on Vincent as they whispered to one another. With a blush she straightened and looked at him waiting for an explanation.

After going over their plan they went their separate ways to bed. Asher decided to camp outside with his girls. Keera was nice enough to watch Deacia for the night.

“You’re both amazing, you know that right?” Asher asked. Tiff had her lips wrapped around the base of his dick. Atty had one ball in her mouth, Lanta the other. He shook as he stared down at them. Tiff moved her head back and forth hitting her Ero Zone and came. She shook as she closed her eyes. Then slowly drew back.

“We are amazing,” she said. Then slowly she turned her head toward the entrance to the tent. “Come in!” She announced. The tent flap opened to show 2 young girls on the other side. Tiff went back to sucking his dick. Atty turned to watch the girls as Lanta continued on his balls.

“How can we help you?” Asher asked with a groan.

“We uh,” one trailed off as she watched his girls work. One was shorter, a little over 5 feet. She had long red hair and freckles. The other was taller with short brown hair. No real meat on her bones, she did have a pretty face. He didn’t think many people in the area had meat on their bones.

“We wanted to ask if you would take us with you,” the taller one said. Her eyes watching Tiff move back and forth.

“That won’t be possible. We are going somewhere dangerous,” he said. Gritting his teeth he began to cum as Tiff did. She coughed and sucked it down. The clones sucked hard on his balls causing him to sputter. His hands held their heads in his crotch. He sighed as the orgasm left.

Tiff slowly raised her head. “We could come back for you though,” she offered. “But we will need something in return.” Tiff eyed them. Slowly they dropped their dresses.

“Tiff, babe. We aren’t forcing people to do anything,” he said. He didn’t feel too comfortable sleeping with girls that might not be real.

“Oh this is the real reason they came,” Tiff said with a smile. She stood walking up to the short one. “Have you ever been with a woman?” The girl shook her head. “How old are you?”

“18,” she said.

“19,” the other answered. Asher didn’t quite believe them. But Tiff didn’t say anything. He wasn’t exactly sure if he was 18 or 19 himself. His birthday could have passed without him noticing.

“Have you been with a man?” Tiff asked them. They slowly shook their heads. Tiff smiled widely. “Let’s fix that shall we?” Tiff said. Picking up the smaller girl the villager gasped as she took them to their bed.

Asher moved to the taller girl. She looked up into his eyes scared. “We only proceed if you want to.”

The girl gulped but said, “There are no other eligible men in the village. We would rather do this if we are to die.” Asher was still hesitant but he couldn’t blame them.

“We will come back,” he promised them. “If we can.”

The girl nodded. Her body shaking, he picked her up and moved her to beside her friend. “They are very gentle,” Atty promised one. “Very,” Lanta said to the other. They were both playing with each other as they watched. Asher chuckled. He and his wife loosened the girls up and made them scream their orgasms. They passed out after an hour, and it was soon Asher and the Earthlings again.

The next morning they left early. They had to carry the girls back to their homes. He got some weird looks but he mentioned taking everyone with them if they were able to come back that way. They had 2 threats to destroy on the planet, and they only knew of one.

After that the group headed back to their destination. There was a nice big road that led right to Preshoral. They were able to loop onto that. Kill some Zombies, and were on their way. Deacia was extra clingy so in the coming days they didn’t get to have much fun, but they did enjoy themselves with breaks and sneaking away.

It was 111 days till the Guild Conference that the large city came into sight. It was early morning, The sun cast a red hue on the clouds above. The giant Godzilla sized centipede raised up in the air. Towering over the city.

“Holy ball kicking fuck,” Tiff said. Asher frowned, he didn’t like her mentioning ball kicking. Asher charged his eyes with mana as he cast Identification.

**Ision Momma Centra**

Level 50

Asher cursed. It was 2 Risk, and a higher level than the Havoc Boss they fought in the last trial. He tried to think about what to do. Distracting it was the best option. He would have to get it’s attention and hope the others were able to close the portal. He brought up his screen.

He had practiced Dragon Palm since they would need it to close the Dungeon. Ming was much better at it, and didn’t get hurt when she used it. The skill did about 10 HP damage to him, which added up if he was fighting.

He was about to tell them the plan when Vincent spoke. “Look, it's leaving.”

Asher looked away from his screen to see that he was right. The big centipede was going to the South somewhere. He could almost feel the hundred legs stomp on the ground as it quickly moved away.

“Ok, going to move fast. Group up. Everyone see those weird egg sacs on the stalks?” People looked, but it must have been too far for them to see. “Ok, well they are there. I’m guessing those are the eggs. We will be burning and attacking those as we run through. I don’t see any Gone in the forest of eggs, but I won’t risk being attacked by a Lotus. We rush in. Ming and I close the portal. If Gone or the Centipede attacks I will tank it away from everyone. I’ll distract it. Then when you all are done, you come join me and we kill it.”

His team nodded as they looked at him. They knew the drill. Everyone else though, wasn’t too confident. “Hey,” Asher said. “This could be the end of the Gone. They’ll be…gone. Forever. Just a little more effort and your people will be free.” A few nodded. General Vich looked the most confident, but not by much.

“Let’s do this.” Asher began to run.

“Hey!” Tiff yelled, stopping him. “What about Deacia?” Asher skidded to a halt. With a groan he rubbed his eyes. He had pushed to not bring the kid for this exact reason. Tiff had insisted, and now they were in a bind. Looking around the group they had 51 fighters. 9 Healers including his father. Healers were always needed. Tanks too. DPS were a big help but in all honesty these guys were still in the 20s. They had been a big help with the minor Gone, but now they were just bodies.

Asher was reminded how he was treated before awakening on the planet. He was cannon fodder. Another cog in the machine. He liked some of these people. They fought hard and did their best. He looked to the field of eggs and back to them. A part of him hadn’t been treating them like people. Even Deacia he tried to keep at arms length. He felt sorry for her, and did what he could to help her. But in the back of his mind he knew by the end of this he would have to say goodbye.

He eyed his wife, she frowned at him. Though she had been hurt in the past during the Trials she still put herself out there. She was truer to herself than he could ever be. A part of him died back in that Roktai Trial. Despite how he tried to act. This world was hard, and unfair. By the end of the day those that weren’t strong enough would die.

“This-” Asher tried to say. “This is our fight,” he said looking to his comrades. “We were brought by the System. And I know you are all terrified. I-I’m sorry I almost put you in unnecessary danger.” He breathed out heavily. If he was in the same position back on Earth he would have made the lower levels stay out of it. It was time to give these people the same treatment. “You watch her,” he said, pointing to Deacia. General Vich nodded. Asher expected the old man to want to come, but he didn’t. None of them did.

Asher rolled his eyes. “Same plan, just less people,” he said looking to his team. He dropped the Wesrallian’s from the raid group. Light shined around their bodies as they left.

“We will be back, little one,” Tiff said, patting Deacia’s head. Atty and Abby did the same. She had become their unofficial mascot. Asher patted her head, and she grabbed his hand.

Asher bent down and looked her in the eyes. She looked a lot better than the first time he had seen her. Her once blonde hair was now darker. No longer malnourished she wasn’t just skin and bones. She gave him a slight smile as he stared at her. Bringing her in for a hug he hated the fact that he would have to leave her behind. If this was a real timeline he wanted to make sure someone was left to take care of her. General Vich would take care of her, he would make certain before they left.

As he set her down he focused back on the fight at hand. The Momma Centra wasn’t back yet. His group silently jogged the few miles to the start of the egg field. It reminded Asher too much of Aliens. A giant city behind the egg field, most everyone there probably turned. The Lotus were more octopus-like than face-hugger, but still.

It didn’t take long for them to enter the forest. All the eggs were only about 3 feet in height. They were on 1 foot tall red stalks, the eggs were circular instead of elliptical. “Light em up,” Asher said as they stepped in.

Mana started shooting out of hands as they ran past. Tiff with her Pyrokinesis, Ming with her Fire, Atty with her electrical waves, Carl with his Death mana, Abby with her laser Ki Beam, Vincent with his Fire Materia, and Keera with one of her Mana pistols. The field became a blaze as they ran past, and the experience rolled in. The eggs were weak, but Asher was still receiving 1 XP for each. It didn’t take long for a thousand to die, then 10 thousand. They were halfway to the city walls when they heard the rumble of the Momma Centra.

“Ming, use wind to spread it,” Asher said. Ming stopped and her wind mana exploded out fanning the flames. A huge black smoke surrounded them. They coughed but continued running. “Don’t stop killing!” He yelled. Slowly he could feel the distortion of mana ahead. He veered them to intercept it.

The rumbling of the centipede grew louder as they saw their first face in the hazy view ahead. 20’ tall the face was in a soundless scream. No distinguishing marks he tried not to get freaked out as another face in the red wall appeared.

“Almost there,” Asher said between coughs. He did a quick scan, everyone was still there. It was a good idea to leave the others behind, they wouldn’t have kept up. The black swirling gate appeared as the Centra drew closer. There were no Gone present at the door. No guards or anything that he expected. He was tempted to jump on the other side, but the last time there was a Dungeon Break he was locked in. He didn’t want to risk that.

They came to a stop in front of the portal. He cast ID.

Level 45

Status: Broken

Gamers had been able to know dungeon level with their high Identification. Asher guessed he was at that level now. Asher could feel the difference in this portal compared to others. There was a different kind of mana surrounding it. That of a Tier II or III planet. This allowed monsters to come over from the other side. In his time people received a notification before a dungeon broke. He assumed this instance was the exact reason the System gave warnings now. So aliens didn’t come through and completely screw over a newly Initialized planet.

“What do we do?” Ming asked.

“Tiff and Atty, get eyes on the centipede. Ming you’re with me. Dad, Batman, if that centipede gets close, attack it. Tiff said it used Life and Death mixed with Synergy. Those are weak against each other. You should be able to damage it more than others.” The group nodded. Everyone was soon next to the portal.

Asher cycled between Mana Sight and Sense staring at the turning cyclone of mana. He cast Dragon Palm into the vortex. A large red wave of mana shot from his hand and struck the side of the portal. There was a slight fluctuation, but nothing big. His hand became black as the mana left him causing it to burn. Asher ignored the pain.

“Dragon should work,” Asher said. “Ming, I need you to keep hitting it with Dragon Mana. It doesn’t have to be Dragon Palm.” She nodded. Slowly mana escaped from her chest and entered the portal. Nothing happened. She continued to add to it, and finally Asher saw a slight change. As she used her mana counter-clockwise to the clockwise turning Space Mana, it began to weaken. He thought it may have shrunk a little.

“That's it!” He said. “Keep doing that.” She nodded as she chugged a mana potion.

“Asher!” Tiff yelled from overhead. He looked up to see her not staring far away, but right in front of the portal. Asher walked to the front of the group. It slowly appeared in the smoke. At first he thought it was a boulder, but it was the Centra. The head was 20 feet tall from floor to top. A large black husk at the front of its head he couldn’t see any eyes.

He heard the rumble of the feet far away, but the head didn’t move. He pictured the half-mile long centipede. It didn’t have to attack from the front, there was no reason it couldn’t whip its back around. Asher cast Intimidation drawing it’s full attention. They needed time to work.

With a roar he leapt at the armored head and stuck. His blade bounced off. Dropping to the ground he tried to get under the armor to the gooey underside. The Centra screeched as it reared it’s head up. Asher jumped after it. They were above the smoke cloud now. He was facing the red underside. Black carapaces lined the back. Large legs wiggled in the morning light as the Centra began to fall at him, right where his team and the portal was.

“Everyone out of the way!” He bellowed as he charged Judgement. The Centra whipped down and Asher hacked. He cut off one 12 foot thick leg, there were a hundred to go. Green blood shot out of it, but it was enough to veer it off course from hitting everyone else.

Asher dropped to the ground and jumped on it’s back. He cast Intimidation as he reached the head. The Centra charged at the walls of the city, straight at the mouth of their once god. They plowed through with ease. Asher continued to strike down at the Centra. His blade kept bouncing off. On the 4th strike it didn’t ricochet, but sunk in. The Centra reared its head up, slamming him against the roof of a building. He lost his breath but changed from his Guts’ Armor to Berserker armor in an instant. They were hundreds of feet over the city. He was holding on by one of the overlapping armor husks of the centipede.

His eyes glued to the ground he could see the deep blue glow in the city. It was littered with Gone. The real problem was it was mainly Abominations and Behemoths. Asher cursed as the Centra brought them back down to the ground. He wasn’t sure if the Gone and Centra shared one mind or what. But his team would be screwed if so many giant Gone attacked. He jumped off, landing on the huge wall. He ran over to where the Centra had pushed through. Hundreds of Gone ran at the hole.

He yelled a Sex Bomb, causing the smaller ones to stumble. “Everyone but Ming on me!” He commanded. Tiff was flying close to him, and relayed the message. Jumping down he met the horde at the hole in the wall.

His teams lined up behind him. “Kill everything,” Asher ordered as lightning, energy, fire, and every mana kind began shooting at the beasts. The first volley knocked a few down. Then more tripped.

“Stop!” Keera yelled. She began to make a screen in front of the hall. Hiding the opening. People stopped and the Gone continued running. Asher gulped as they continued to draw closer.

“Make it a tunnel!” Asher said. She nodded. Nadir began creating a huge Illusion of a tunnel. Keera changed hers to resemble a tunnel entrance. They moved to the side as the first walked through Keera’s screen. Then all of the Gone ran through. A stampede of undead just kept running in a straight line. Directly where they had come from and left their people from Truskinl.

“Fuck! That’s where the Truskins are!” He said. “Loop it back into the city,” he said.

Nadir and Keera nodded. Extending their hands they made the tunnel loop back around to enter where the monsters had left. He was honestly surprised it was working. Keera had a camera above them showing the horde of Gone looping back around. There were a few hundred, and those at the tail end were already past the new tunnel side entrance.

“Centra!” Tiff yelled. Asher looked up. She was pointing at the city. Asher jumped and saw it barreling through the city. There were still plenty of undead, but they moved out of the way. Asher cursed. He leapt to meet it head on. His blade struck it in the head causing it to stop. His mana had mostly recovered after using Judgement. Asher gritted his teeth as mana poured through his body. Powerstrike after Powerstrike was used to rattle the thick steel-like carapace. It began digging it’s large legs in the ground to push him forward. A group of Gone were closing in on him. He poured Sex Bomb out knocking them back, and causing the Centra to lose focus.

Asher dropped to the ground and cast Judgement again. The Centra ran over top of him, but his white blade dug into the squishy underside. It screeched and reared its head up. Asher cursed as he chugged a potion. Cycling mana he jumped to strike it in the belly again, but with so many legs it easily withdrew.

Jumping, Asher focused on the gate. He spooked Ming as he landed next to her. The gate was much smaller. Maybe only 10 feet tall. “Good work, keep at it,” he said.

“What’s the plan hubby?” Tiff asked from above.

“Close the gate. Then we focus on that thing.”

“Thats not a plan,” She said. “Theres a lot of zombies in the city.”

He nodded, she was right. He needed something big to plug the hole. Tiff must be serious, she didn’t send an image of him plugging her holes. She laughed above. He smirked. “Time to take this thing apart piece by piece,” Asher said.

With a kick he was over the city. The Centra was coming at them again. Sick of attacking the head, he needed to focus on the tail. He needed a big chunk to close the gap in the wall. He dove forward, the Centra noticed him and hunkered down. Soaring past the head it didn’t look up. The tail end was all his. It couldn’t see what he was doing as he slid under its legs. Casting Judgement his huge blade cut through the bottom like butter.

Showered in green goop he cast Cleanliness as the Centra screeched in pain. A weird antenna like tail on the end he grabbed it and carried it with him to the hole in the wall. Asher dropped it in as the last Gone ran back inside. It boomed as it hit the ground, knocked some more of the wall away, but not enough for anything to get through.

“Time to attack. We are going to start at the ass and make our way up!” Asher yelled.

It took another hour for Ming to close the gate. They were all focused on the Centra at hand. Asher was able to drag it away from the city. As he kept it’s focus on the front the other’s lit its ass on fire. His Intimidation was strong and strike after strike chipped away at the front armor. By the time Ming came back they were already at the second phase.

The Momma Centra started glowing blue with it’s Styx Mana. It curled in a ball and began to expel it out at everyone. No real damage done it started to take major damage in this form as Bishop and Batman hit it with Life and Death Mana.

After that it tried to run away. Asher was able to strike the back of its ever shrinking body after that. Then it was back to facing him. They fought it for 4 hours in total. The thing was a 2 star, and if you focused on the top of its body it was obviously a 2 Risk. The underside was too easy of a target though. Honestly the beginning had been the worst part. Since the Gone were trapped in the city again and they were out of the fiery haze of the egg field they were able to take it down slowly but surely.

A final phase of the Centra had been to hunker down. This gave Asher plenty of time to strike the ever weakening plate armor at the head. With one final Powerstrike he broke through and his Dragon Slayer sunk in. The Centra hadn’t expected that as it screeched and spasmed. Legs shook and plate husks rattled. Asher only had 20 MP left, but it was enough for a final Judgment. His Holy Mana leaked out and sliced through the green gooey center.

Giving one final shake the Centra died. Asher cast Cleanliness as he began searching for the Mana Heart. A little surprised he found 2. One near the head, and one near where they had been attacking. They were pretty close to it. After they dug it out Asher let the others decide who got them. They usually went Round Robin on the Hearts.

“We did it,” Tiff said happily. She clung to him, giving him a kiss.

“Just 1 more threat to go,” Asher said.

“No, this was the last one,” Ming said. The screens began to pop-up in front of him.
